Sharing His Love.
Feeding.
Common Heart, a grassroots movement in Union County NC, started in July 2006 with the simple desire of four friends to bridge the gap between our faith and concrete practical demonstrations of God’s love. This rag tag group grew behind the scenes and was hidden for years. Many new friends joined in and we just served, loved and grew. In recent years annually feeding more than 16,000 families.
Healing.
Mephibosheth, pronounced Muh-fib-uh-sheth, started out as a foundation Quarter Horse breeding farm, owned and operated by current executive directors Michael and Ruby Harris. The name comes from the the book of Samuel. Mephibosheth was Saul’s grandson who was lame in his feet. When David came upon the throne, Mephibosheth feared for his life. Mephibosheth thought that because of his disability and family David would kill him. However, David showed mercy and honored Mephibosheth by letting him sit at his table for the rest of his life. (2 Samuel 4:4, 19:26). Just as King David invited Mephibosheth to his table Mephibosheth Farm is a place where everyone is equal.
Building Futures.
On Mission Nicaragua
God has called Image Church to focus on the country of Nicaragua. We support missionaries; thereby, we assist in ministering to the physical, social, and spiritual needs of the people in helping through feeding programs, building houses, and ministering in churches through building projects, planting and supporting new churches. It is our desire to help the Body of Christ in Nicaragua to fulfill Isaiah 61. Image Church has helped to plant three churches in Nicaragua and have helped with building projects/outreach projects in another four churches. We take one to two mission trips per year to work with the missionaries we support.
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
